This colourful event is a celebration of Race Relations Day, which falls on the 21st March.

Visitors will have lots of opportunities to watch ethnic dances from all corners of the world, listen to many music genres, and try authentic ethnic food available from the large variety of ethnic food stalls.

Most performances will take place on the main stage on the Village Green, but there will also be performances throughout the Village all day, including sports displays and some interesting activities especially for children. They will be entertained by a magician, can go on pony rides, or may want to burn off energy in a bouncy castle and other activities designed specially for them.

For those visitors interested in ethnic arts and crafts, stalls will be set up throughout the Village.

In order to cater to the specific needs of migrants, many service providers will be present with their stalls, where any newcomer to Tauranga can find useful information to help them find their feet in their new home town.

One lucky visitor will not only enjoy the event but also take home a great mystery spot prize funded by ANZ Bank.
