The course of true love never did run smooth...

Step inside the magical mythical world of fairies, Athenians and amateur actors, where the course of true love runs anything but smooth.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream is one of Shakespeare’s most accessible masterpieces and arguably his greatest comedy.

Pranks and schemes abound that make for an enchanting tale which has cast its spell over audiences for centuries.

It is Bottom’s dream - a lovable, gentlemanly, if decidedly hairbrained fellow who most embodies the decent everyman. A fellow as at home in the rude, demanding world of a common workman as in the fantastical world of fairies and theatres.

The Court Theatre is excited to present this international collaboration with American Artistic Director Joseph Graves from Peking University's Institute of World Theatre and

Film. Joe brings with him seven Chinese actors from Peking University, who will combine with The Court Theatre cast and crew, and actors from NASDA to bring to the stage a unique and magical production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

The show will feature costume designs from American Designer Joel Ebarb, lighting by Chinese Designer Shego Wang, set design by Derek Miller and sound design by Ryan Hopper.

Members of the cast and crew will also travel to Beijing to stage this unique theatrical production for Chinese audiences.

Book your seats now and become part of this unparalleled production.
