Set in and around the Club a Go-Go, a “Cavern”-type cellar beat club in provincial England, the show spoofs the Saturday night rituals of pubescent teenage delinquents and their eternal embarrassment.

Teenage girls in mini-skirts and boys in Chelsea boots (all with bite, kick and hanky-panky) are found there, along with 20 and 30-somethings - all enjoying the music at the club on a Saturday Night.

Set in a typical 1960s’ Saturday night at the Club a Go-Go nightclub, a group of wide-eyed seventeen-year-olds experience love, life, music and the sixties style along with the intricacies of social and sexual awakenings in the mini-skirted early Beatles era.
Sue is going out with Gary, who chats up Penny and any other bit of stuff that looks his way. Sharon fancies Rick who fancies Sharon but can't pluck up courage to tell her because she hasn't told him. Eddie fancies Bridget who doesn't fancy anyone. Club owner and aging rocker Eric de Vene oversees all the goings-on.
The cast rocks and bops its way through songs emulating every sixties sound style you can imagine. Think The Beatles, The Stones, Lulu, The Who, Dusty Springfield, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Seekers, Cliff Richard, and many, many more. With book, music and lyrics by the Heather Brothers, this show pays homage to all those awkward moments of adolescence and young adulthood, regardless of era, mixed in with the fashions, hair and sounds of the most fab decade of the 20th century.
