Antimatter –An exhibition of art

One of the Missions of The Incubator is help form a cohesive and connected Arts Community and this show does that. Collaborating with Envirohub BOP to promote the Sustainable Backyards Month, Lisa Meehan of the Incubator has curated a powerful exhibition with this terrific line up of participating artists. Constanza Briceno, Donelle Shilling Constanza Tagini Nightingale, Harley Moore, John Baxter, Martine Jefferson, Suzanne Smith, Deborah Forkett, Jeremy Marshall, Margie Foster, Danny Redwood, Jannine Bishop, Wendy Pederson, Lisa Meehan, Joanna O'Reilly, Nicola Baxter and Rosey Armstrong and Kalou Koefoed.

The works are for sale and the criteria has challenged the artists’ abilities. “To create a piece of work in harmony with the key principles of sustainability, such as ecology, social justice, non-violence and democracy and depicting relative issues close to their hearts.”

The works as an exercise have been produced with consideration to the environmental and social impact including their "carbon footprint.

The Incubator prides itself on its very resourceful and sustainable practices having been furnished entirely by upcycling and recycling including the fabulous pallet wall artist studios within.
The Exhibition will preview on Friday the 7th March and remain in the Incubator Gallery until April.
