Belle – Jazz standards singer from Thailand accompanied by her jazz combo.

You might have been lucky enough to have recently heard a voice ringing out over the Trafalgar St traffic, singing classic Jazz standards like “The Nearness of you” and “For Sentimental Reasons”. Belle, an accomplished jazz singer from Thailand here studying at the Nelson English centre, has been sharing her music on the streets of Nelson, accompanied by two teachers, Dave and Philip on guitar. Before she returns to Thailand, she will perform a special one-night-only concert at the Boathouse on Friday 2nd May from 7.30pm til late. This time, she will be accompanied by a Jazz combo of guitars, drums and saxophone. Belle sings for the passion of sharing her music and as such, it’s a gold coin donation at the door. Even if you’re not a jazz fan, the beauty of her voice and the songs will enchant you and make a lasting impression. Don’t miss this one-off opportunity to hear her unique, pure jazz voice.
