Tragically despite all of the messages in schools and in the media about Road safety Vehicle crashes remains the leading cause of death amongst 15-24 year olds.

This Blue Light event is designed to highlight the many possible consequences of unsafe driving practises in the hope that with this knowledge, young people, their family and peers will make the right decisions when travelling in vehicles and follow the laws that are in place to protect them and other road users.

During this community evening that is open to the public you will hear first hand from Crash Victims, Emergency Department staff and Emergency Services staff who too often have to deal with the aftermath of a poor decision behind the wheel of a vehicle.

This event is made possible thanks to the ongoing support from TECT.

Entry to the event is by gold coin donation with proceeds going to ongoing Road Safety education.
