Wednesday 30th July will be a night to celebrate life and raise awareness for suicide prevention in the heart of Havelock North.

Be entertained by guest speakers, live music, auction and enjoy dinner which is supplied by Pure Catering. This is set to be entertaining mid week evening to support our community, doors open at 6.30pm sharp.

Guest speakers bio:

Mike King
A comedian and television personality famous in New Zealand for appearing on TV shows such as Comedy Central, Game of Two Halves, Strassman, TV Bloopers and Practical Jokes, Pulp Comedy and Guess Who's Coming to Dinner.
These days Mike is better known for his work as a prominent mental health educator with the work he does under his charity The Key to Life Charitable Trust, which aims to reverse the population trends of depression and suicide by effecting positive social change.

Tafai Ioasa
A local sporting legend who has represented New Zealand at the highest level in seven’s rugby. A career highlight for Ioasa was captaining the New Zealand side to a gold medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. In a career spanning over a decade Ioasa has returned to Hawke’s Bay after playing professional rugby in Japan for the Fukuoka Sanix Blues.
