CtD is bringing comedy back to the Central City and we're kicking it off at the start of October with one of the biggest names in NZ Comedy, Cori Gonzalez-Macuer from the Taiki Waititi and Jermaine Clement film, 'What we Do in the Shadows' and a former Billy T Award winner. On main support duties we've got Billy T nominee Tim Batt who you may recognise from 7 Days and The Late Night Big Breakfast.

We want to make a night of it, so Barcode will be cranking out the tunes before and after, make sure you find the time for a few drinks and a bit of a boogie!

Headline: Cori Gonzalez Macuer

Chilean born New Zealander, Cori has been doing standup for the last 10 years - with a bit of a break to finish his degree.
He has performed his unique style of comedy all over New Zealand, Europe and as far as the Middle East and South America.
His triumphant return home to Chile was filmed as special for TV3's "Funny Roots".
He has been on 7 Days, Pulp Comedy, AotearoHa and was a regular in cult hit "A Night At The Classic"... plus was also a finalist in the Cleo Young Bachelor of the Year…..
Cori is currently staring in Tiaka Waititi and Jemaine Clement's new feature film "What We Do In The Shadows" and he walked the red carpet at the films premiere at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival.
Whether it's on the stage or screen, Cori's reluctance to accept a career in entertainment is what has made him the performer he is today

Main support: Tim Batt

Tim Batt is one of the kiwi comedy scene's secret weapons.
Winning the coveted Best Newcomer at the 2013 NZ International Comedy Festival, he was then nominated for the 2014 Billy T Award. His thought-provoking comedy, charismatic approach and audience probing style often make him a memorable performer for audiences all over New Zealand.
Tim has worked in radio for over five years and is currently the host of two shows on Radio Hauraki. He was the host of the popular Loo Review segment on TVNZ's U Late and has been writing for comedy TV shows for several years.
He was nominated for Best MC in the Comedy Guild Awards 2013 and is a frequent performer and MC at The Classic and around the country.
