Koanga Institute’s Workshop Tour
Tutors: Mel Turnbull
This is a practical based workshop, taking you through all the basic understandings, strategies and techniques required in the kitchen to be sure of putting meals on your table that will fully nourish your family, based on the principles of Dr Weston Price. During the day we will make and taste broth and ferments, including kefir, we will learn how to process grains seeds and nuts so they are able to nourish us as well as how to choose and use traditional fats and oils, and .. and many other techniques for ensuring your diet is providing you with all at the essential vitamins minerals and fats you need to maintain and rebuild your health
The proceeds from the workshop tour will go towards securing the land that houses New Zealand’s largest heritage seed and fruit tree collection. Koanga Institute is literally in a race against time to save the seeds by the 29th of June.
