Lisa is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of Auckland where she had taught as an artist teacher for few years. She also works between the School of Music, the University of Auckland and the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra as the inspire Facilitator.

She had won several competitions and scholarships in Korea and New Zealand, and she had been a member of National Youth Orchestra for two years in New Zealand. She has undertaken concert tours in Korea (Seoul) and Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka), and has appeared as a soloist with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra and the Auckland Youth Orchestra.

She also received a full scholarship to study and perform at the world's largest internationally renowned music festival, the Aspen Music Festival in Colorado, USA, in July and August of 2010. During the festival, Lisa collaborated with top level musicians from around the world such as Darrett Adkins, who currently teaches at the Juilliard School and Oberlin Conservatory of Music.

She has performed in master classes with Maria Kliegel, Young Chang Cho, Susan Sheppard, Torleif Thedéen and David Finckel (Emerson Quartet) and had participated in the Winter School at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow.
