How do I get to the Peace Place?
By train
The Peace Place is a short walk from Britomart Transport Centre (8/10 Queen St, Auckland 1010).
By bus
A number of buses stop close to us at 2 Anzac Ave (it is a three minute walk from there to 22 Emily Place).
By ferry (from Waiheke or the North Shore)
It is a ten minute walk from the Auckland Ferry Terminal to 22 Emily Place.
By car
There is no free or reserved parking at The Peace Place.
There are a small number of metered car parks on the street (charges of $3 per hour for the first two hour & then $6 for each additional hour from Monday to Friday and of $1 per hour on Saturdays apply from 8am to 6pm) but these fill up fast and are usually not available at peak times.
The following car-parks are close by:
- Tournament Parking Lumley Centre at 65 Fort Street (a two minute walk).
- The Britomart Car Park at 88 Quay Street (a six minute walk).
- Wilson Car Park – 53-73 Anzac Ave (a five minute walk).
- Wilson Car Park Cnr Short St and Eden Cres (a two minute walk).
If you are up for a slightly longer walk the Downtown & Victoria Street Car Parks are both 10 minutes walk away.
