Festival of Food and Wine

The Festival of Food and Wine is the hottest festival to hit Auckland in 2014.

The Festival is hosted at Ti Papa Special Events Center. The Center is located only 7 minutes from Auckland's Southern motorway and only 30 minutes from downtown Auckland City making it the perfect gateway to all that the South Auckland area has to offer.

The Festival of Food and Wine provides a wide range of entertainment including cooking demonstrations, wine tasting sessions, cheese tasting sessions, or simply soak up the festival atmosphere with a glass in hand and enjoy the live music on the festival main stage.

The Festival of Food and Wine is a great way to celebrate the great food and wine that the region has to offer in one stunning location.

At the festival you can look forward to;

- Shopping the farmer’s market stalls which include fresh fruit and vegetables, meats and seafood as well as a divine selection of condiments, sauces and sweet treats.

- Join the audience as 6 of Auckland’s top chefs take to the kitchen to create delights using all local key produce. Take home the recipes so you can recreate these amazing dishes at home!

- Sampling the different wines in the Wine Appreciation Lounge and then enjoying your favourites while wandering the exhibitors.

- Tasting the best of Auckland’s cheese producers in the Cheese Appreciation Lounge. Visit the cheese bar before you leave to take home your favourites.

- Enjoy the offerings of the diverse range of food exhibitors including an oyster bar, burger bar, and 10 pop up restaurants.

- Nine hours of live entertainment on the main stage including a special aerial acrobatics display.

- Tasting a selection of 8 different beers and 5 different ciders at the upstairs Brew Bar while taking in the V8 Supercar track action on the big screen
