Auckland chamber choir Viva Voce presents its first ever fully piano-accompanied programme, allowing it to explore a treasure trove of musical gems, particularly from the Romantic era.

John Rosser conducts his fine 30-strong choir and two top young NZ pianists, Judy Lee and Kento Isomura (playing individually or side by side), in a programme of superb part-songs by Brahms, Schumann, Schubert, Herzogenberg, Fauré and Rossini.

Contemporary composers also feature, with pieces by popular American writers Whitacre and Lauridsen and a four-hand work specially written for this concert by our own David Hamilton.

A concert of stunning music, all too rarely performed.
