What is Scratch?
Scratch is a programming language designed by MIT Media Lab, to engage kids in programming. It is a visual language and is very easy for young learners to use.

What is the Raspberry Pi?
The Raspberry Pi is a credit-card-sized computer developed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation with the intention of promoting the teaching of computer science in schools.

Programming fun for kids with Scratch on the Raspberry Pi.
In this fun 8 week introduction to programming, kids will learn how to create programs using the Scratch programming language.

Scratch is a drag and drop visual programming language, that is highly engaging and for young learners, It creates a fun and playful environment in which to learn
about computers and programming.

The class is intended for kids with little or no programming experience.
Kids should be comfortable with using a mouse & keyboard, and have an interest in computers and building things.

Start Date/Times: Sat 10th May, 2.30pm - 4pm

Cost for term: $195 per course, or two payments of $110, one
at start of course, and one at week 4 of the course.
