As far as wine evenings go, this one is particularly special. Legendary winemaker and general creative genius Kevin Judd is very rarely in Auckland and even less often is he drawn into putting on a full tasting of his superb range of Greywacke wines.

Kevin Judd is perhaps the most important winemaker in NZ’s history, having been the driving force behind Cloudy Bay for more than 20 years. He is also a world-class photographer and throughout the night his beautiful photos (like the one above) will be shown on our high-definition plasma screens while you experience what we (and the world’s top critics) think are some of Marlborough and NZ’s greatest wines.

If you have yet to experience the magic Kevin has bottled under his Greywacke label then this evening is an absolute must – if you have tasted them, then the brand new release of his 2011 Greywacke Chardonnay paired with the delectable menu by Philip Reynolds should be enticement enough.
