Hear all about tyrannosaurs from world-renowned dinosaur expert Dr Thomas Holtz, visiting from the United States. How did these terrifying creatures evolve, live – and die out?
Holtz takes you on a fascinating journey to explore the origins of tyrannosarus, the environment in which they lived, their adaptations, their feeding habits, and more.
Palaeontologist Dr Holtz is the writer of Dinosaurs: The most complete, up-to-date encyclopedia for dinosaur lovers of all ages (2007). He was a consultant for the BBC’s Walking with Dinosaurs series (1999) and is currently Senior Lecturer in the University of Maryland’s Department of Geology.
