At 31.5 years old, 2014 Billy T Award Nominee, Jamaine Ross is technically a grown-up, and he has the wedding ring to prove it. But he also has Optimus Prime, Legolas and Ravishing Rick Rude action figures to prove he hasn’t moved on from his childhood obsessions. Which begs the question: Does he even want to move on?
Come see him in a brand new hour of stand-up comedy where he'll try to reconcile having a wife, career and mortgage, with his unhealthy obsession with Transformers, Street Fighter and pro-wrestling (which, by the way, he definitely knows is fake). Also, there will be jokes.
May contain small parts.
Suitable for ages 15 and up.

After winning the Raw Comedy Quest in 2012, Jamaine smashed 2013 by headling the 5 star reviewed 'The Medium Rare Comedy Showcase', opening for 'Tenacious D', making his first appearance on '7 Days', and winning his most prestigious award to date, 'Best Facial Hair' at the 2013 NZ International Comedy Festival.

On top of his comedy achievements, he has competed in the Rialto Channel 48 Hours Furious Filmmaking Competition as co-writer and co-star of National Finalist films in 2012 and 2013.

"Jamaine Ross totally won the crowd over with his laid back and likable comedy… brilliantly funny… a star of the future."
- Ingrid Grenar, Keeping Up With NZ

"Joyously childish, but thoughtful and intelligent too... makes you feel at ease in his presence."
- Alice Harbourne, Gather & Hunt

"I’ve known this guy for 30 years. Actually, he’s my son"
- Jack Black, International Comedy Superstar
