Samba is the most well known of all Brazilian rhythms and Samba Society plays all styles and fusions of Samba: traditional, samba-rock, samba-jazz, afro-samba. Samba Society is a group with Alda Rezende and Ruth Armishaw on vocals, Felicien Houet on acoustic guitar, Noel Clayton on electric guitar, Hikurangi Schaverien-Kaa on drums, Darryn Sigley on percussion, and Paul Mouncey on electric bass

Saturday 27th September - The Carlos Navae Band on stage from 11pm
Born in Acapulco Mexico, Carlos Navae started singing Mexican Mariachi and Cuban boleros from a young age before picking up the guitar, learning from his professional musician father.Carlos's musical talent took him from his home town to Mexico City, Puerto Escondido Oaxaca, and New Zealand. His band, featuring Latin-American and New Zealand musicians, reflects a journey through musical genres such as Traditional Mexican, Afro-Cuban Jazz, Salsa, Funk and Caribbean beats such as Reggae and Reggaeton, resulting in an energetic & irresistible Latin fusion that will make you discover new dancing horizons.

DJ Don Luchito will keep the dancefloop pumping until late both nights.
