Having been seen by over 90 million people all around the world and grossing over $4 billion, Mamma Mia! – presented in Auckland by Amici Productions and Auckland Music Theatre Inc – is now playing for a strictly limited season.

Delia Hannah, acclaimed for her roles in international productions of Cats, Mary Poppins and Les Misérables and a firm favourite of the maestro Andrew Lloyd Webber, will play the lead role of Donna. Delia last appeared in Auckland as The Bird Woman in Disney’s stage musical Mary Poppins. Prior to Poppins, she appeared as Grizabella in the Australian and Asian tours of Cats. She performed for two years in Les Misérables and also toured Australasia as a principal soloist in the 1996/1997 Australian Tour of The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber starring Anthony Warlow and Sarah Brightman. She won a Variety Club Award and a Mo Award for Aspects of Love and played Glinda in The Wizard of Oz.

Supporting is Jackie Clarke as Rosie, an unmarried fun-loving author and former member of Donna and the Dynamos, and Minouk Van Der Velde, in the role of Tanya -- the slightly acerbic, witty and wealthy friend of Donna who was also a former member of Donna and The Dynamos.

Richard Neame is one possible dad, Sam. Richard has performed through New Zealand, Australia, and Asia in productions of Ken Hill’s Original Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story, and Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

John Hellyer is another possible dad, Bill. The award winning actor last appeared on the Civic stage as The Engineer in Miss Saigon and recently appeared in Fiddler on the Roof in the lead role of Tevye. Other memorable roles include Jean Valjean in Les Miserables, Tatch in Ragtime, Anatoly Sergievsky in Chess (receiving awards for each); Archie in The Secret Garden, Jerry Lukowski in The Full Monty, Mack in Mack and Mabel, Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast and one of the three men in Sondheim's Putting It Together.

Steve O’Rielly is the third possible dad, Harry. Steve featured in the critically acclaimed cast of Miss Saigon at The Civic in 2011 and most recently played Parson Nathaniel in Auckland Stardome's version of Jeff Waynes War of the Worlds.

Aimee Gray is bride-to-be Sophie Sheridan. Aimee has been very involved in Auckland theatre from a young age. She played Mary Lennox in The Secret Garden (2005) for which she still holds the title as youngest winner of the NAPTA Best Actress in a Leading Role - Musical.

Rory Nolan is the groom Sky. Recent theatre credits include: ‘The Artilleryman’ in the seven week sold-out season of the War of the Worlds.

Mamma Mia! features a new set and costume design with sets by John Harding (Avatar) and costumes by Lesley Burkes-Harding (Avatar).
