In a quiet storeroom, three curious warehouse workers are busy...

Out of dozens of suitcases and crates emerge an assortment of props, found objects and their ingenious imaginations, as they unfold six classic Pamela Allen tales from the page to the stage. From the Sydney streets of Alexander's Outing to the King's kitchen in Brown Bread and Honey, each story transforms into a delightful miracle of music and play.

Capital E National Theatre for Children presents Patch Theatre company's wonderful production, which features adaptations of Pamela Allen’s stories 'Mr McGee', 'Alexander’s Outing', 'Belinda', 'Brown Bread and Honey', 'Mary Elizabeth’s House' and 'Mr McGee and the Biting Flea'.

Prepare to be mesmerised and enchanted.

"Capital E's first show in its new home is a winner and definitely for all ages. Mr McGee & the Biting Flea takes five short stories by Pamela Allen and turns them into highly entertaining, expertly performed, amusingly choreographed, musical adventures." The Dominion Post

"The talent, skills and great pleasure with which the three actors perform this show ensure a delightful 45 minutes for all." Theatreview
