Join artist Peata Larkin in a conversation, about her latest exhibition 'Towards the Light'. Larkin will discuss key concepts and give insight into what inspires her.

Peata Larkin’s distinctive abstract patterned paintings draw inspiration directly from Māori weaving. Acrylic paint is pushed through a weave substrate so that the works adopt sculptural characteristics. Her exhibition 'Towards the Light' pays homage to Larkin’s ancestors.

This is one of two exhibitions this month at Corban Estate Arts Centre to celebrate the arrival of Matariki.
