What is Python?
Python is a popular programming language used by Google, the New York Stock Exchange, and NASA. It is considered very easy to learn, and is a great place to start.

What is the Raspberry Pi?
The Raspberry Pi is a credit-card-sized computer developed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation with the intention of promoting the teaching of computer science in schools.

Learning Python Programming with the Raspberry Pi.
In this 8 week introduction course, students learn the basics of the Python programming language, and use it to program the Raspberry Pi. The class is intended for students with little or no programming experience.
Students should be comfortable with a moderate amount of typing, and have an interest in programming and building things. Students can purchase a Raspberry
Pi kit at the end of the course, if they wish to continue using what they have learned at home.

No. of sessions: 8 - Starts Wednesday 14th May and runs for 8 weeks finishing 2nd July.

Cost for term: $195 per course
(or two payments of $110, one at start of course, and one at week 4 of the course)
