Free for 5 to 7 year old kids - All kids love making noise and we will be making our own sound making gadgets, gizmos and musical instruments. Big kid, science educator and sonic artist Dr Claire Pannell will be flying in from Perth, Australia to nurture the tinkerer and maker in your child. If your child loves making things and is curious about the world and how things work, then these workshops are perfect for you.

Following a story telling from Dr Seuss’ Horton hears a Who children will explore how sounds are made and how they are amplified. First they will make Horton ears and explore how it amplifies sounds. Then they make a simple noisemaking instrument called a quacking cup to take home.

11am - 12pm on both Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 March. Free.
