Queen’s Birthday weekend and Blues once again go hand in hand in downtown Rotorua for the annual ‘Rotorua Blues Festival’.

Presented by the Bay of Plenty Blues Club, the programme includes the youth guitar seminar and workshop, and free entertainment all weekend in the new 'all weather' Eat Streat mall.

There will be a great selection of blues bands including three international acts. The festival winds up on Monday with a blues jam session. No charge for the downtown festival in 'Eat Streat'.

There will also be three ticketed events. The popular Blues Cruise will run both Saturday and Sunday, and a 'Blues & Beyond' concert will be held at the Novotel Lakeside.

On Saturday 31st May, there will be live music in Eat Streat between 11am and 11pm, featuring a great lineup of musicians from NZ and Australia. Entry is free.

The Blues Cruise on the Lakeland Queen goes from 3-5pm, featuring headline Act from Australia, Shaun Kirk. Plus, a great 'Blues & Beyond' concert at the Novotel on Saturday night.
