US indie kingpins Sebadoh return to New Zealand in March for the first time in 19 years to thrill lo-fi and indie fans in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin.

One year after an unforgettable Dinosaur Jr show at the Powerstation, Lou Barlow is back, this time with his fellow Sebadoh co-consipirators Jason Lowenstein and Bob D’Amico.

Tickets are available from UnderTheRadar.co.nz, Slow Boat and RPM (Wellington), Cosmic (Christchurch & Dunedin) and Real Groovy (Auckland).

The tour is proudly presented by 95bFM, undertheradar and Plus1.co.nz

Sebadoh fans can look forward to a mix of tracks across their career, from classic albums like Bakesale and Harmacy right through to last year’s acclaimed release Defend Yourself (Domino/EMI) – their first new studio album in some fourteen years.

The new album debuted at No. 1 in the US on the "New Alternative Artists" Billboard chart.

Sebadoh are now considered one of the seminal indie bands alongside the likes of Pavement, Guided By Voices, and Superchunk.

Formed in 1986 in Westfield, Massachusetts, Sebadoh put their own compelling stamp on low-fi indie rock, highlighted in early releases like 1990's Weed Forestin’ and 1991’s Sebadoh III.
