Semi-Permanent is the legendary event that brings together a brilliantly eclectic selection of the most joyously creative minds you might ever meet, and puts them up on the same stage over two wondrous days.

Semi-Permanent kicked off ten very short years ago. Over the decade we've brought you artists, writers, designers, architects, musicians, composers, photographers, film-makers, plus a fair few of our very favourite vagabonds, rogues, and dreamers, and we've turned them loose on audiences. The results have been outstanding, and now we're fitting up to do it all again.

Semi-Permanent Auckland 2014 is shaping to be one of our best ever.

We have assembled a breath-taking pack of incredibly diverse talents, and we can't wait to see what happens when we introduce them to you. No one walks away from Semi-Permanent unimpressed, uninspired, unchanged or less than a little bit unhinged, and this is your invitation to get amongst it.

Among our incredible line up for 2014:
- Michael Amzalag and Mathias Augustyniak are one of the world's most dynamic creative partnerships. Since founding M/M Paris in 1992, they have worked with musicians Björk, Madonna, Benjamin Biolay, Etienne Daho, and Kanye West, Designers Nicolas Ghesquière, Yohji Yamamoto, Jil Sander, Calvin Klein, Stella McCartney, Riccardo Tisci, and designed for publications including Vogue Paris, Arena Homme, and Interview.

- Film-maker Niki Caro is internationally renowned for directing the feature films Whale Rider, North Country, and The Vintner's Luck. She began her career as a sculptor before turning to film, at which she was largely self-taught. Her work is characterised by stunning, layered imagery and unique strongly drawn characters being brought to life by their relationship with their environment.

- From the worlds of art and engineering, and the fabulous spaces where those disciplines collide, Golan Levin is simply one of the most fascinating people you will ever meet. Golan lectures in Electronic Time Based Art at New York's Carnegie Mellon University. He got there via a series of revolutionary interactive installations that use robotics, software, and cognitive research to challenge the way people thought about the evolution of ideas and imagery. His TED talk 'Art That Looks Back At You' has gathered 640,000 views.

And this is just a taster.

This anniversary edition of Semi-Permanent promises to be the most influential, the most indelible, the most glorious, the most fabulous, and the most sheer bloody fun yet.
