Sister Anzac begins on the hospital ship Maheno's first day in Anzac Cove. The nurses work constantly, as the barges bring more wounded. Bullets and shrapnel fall around them on the deck. They battle the conditions, and the lack of respect from their senior officers, as they personally search for brothers, husbands, and lovers. As the Gallipoli retreat begins, the Sisters transfer to the Western Front, where, sick themselves, they will be tested by bombing raids, and increasing casualties. At the end, a German counter attack threatens to overrun their wounded Anzac soldiers, and them.

This unique 'onboard experience' is a one of a kind opportunity to follow the stars of Sister Anzac as they tour you through the Maritime Museum galleries at night while telling this incredible true story. Most suited to audience members that can move through the galleries easily
