21st Annual Craft Fair & Market Day
North Canterbury Soroptimist are preparing for the 21tstCraft Fair and Market Day to be held on Tuesday 21stnd October at the Rangiora A & P Show Grounds & function Centre. Open from 10am – 5pm.

Bigger and brighter than ever, the fair keeps growing. Many of the favourite stalls will be returning: natural skin products, jewelry, gifts for children & babies, salmon, home made jams & jellies, clothing, woodcrafts, plants and many more. There will be many new and interesting additions such as stunning garden art from Timaru, a biscuit stall by the Soroptimist group.

The funds raised this year will go to local charities principally Percival House, a mental health re-habilitation facility in Rangiora. Since the earthquakes and some adverse weather conditions there has been increased demand for a facility such as this and under the umbrella of Presbyterian Support it is offering help to many in need in our area. They offer group and individual support for any adult experiencing any form of mental illness, focusing on recovery, education, personal development, goal setting and peer support. Percival House will have an information area at the fair to increase public awareness of their work.

Delicious morning & afternoon teas will be served in the Show Grounds Function Centre, this is a pleasant area to relax and meet friends whilst sampling some delicious food & coffee or tea.

One of the popular features of the fair is the very attractive raffle baskets ranging in contents from garden items, food and toiletries.

Free parking and eftpos is available on site, the very central location of the fair make it a great day out without having to travel far.

A limited number stalls are still available so any one wishing to take part should contact Lois Bennett 3136490 or Wendy McClung 31306247
