State of Mind + Ink Bar + Bad Habits Presents:
Borderline’s ‘Flashes Of The Future’ Album Release

Come and celebrate the release of Borderline's debut LP 'Flashes of the Future' on SOM Music.

The Lowdown on Borderline...

Whether behind the decks performing or behind the computer creating his own music, Borderline’s pursuit of perfection has seen his profile steadily rise in the drum and bass ranks, not only in New Zealand but now on a global scale. With a growing back-catalogue of releases on well-respected labels including SOM Music, Dispatch, Samurai Music, Redlight Recordings, Dutty Audio, Citrus and Smptm, Borderline has begun to stamp his unmistakeable mark on the dark and deep sound of drum and bass; not only as a solo artist but also through collaborations with Teknik, Cern, Menace, Dose, Safire and Johnny Hooves. Adding to this, he has so far had the privilege of remixing tracks by Enei, Trei and Optiv, and has had the likes of Andy C, State of Mind, Bulletproof, The Upbeats, Gridlok, Ant TC1, Optiv & BTK, Teknik, Dose & Cern continuously supporting his music.

Following on from the success of his previous SOM Music releases ‘Futurus’ (with Cern) in 2011, ’Synthetic Man’ and ‘Rockhop’ (with Hooves) and the four track ‘Borderline EP’ in 2012,
his forthcoming debut album ‘Flashes of the Future’, also on SOM Music (run by fellow NZ heavyweights State Of Mind) is set for release in 2013, and will be sure to sky-rocket Borderline to new heights.

Backing up his production prowess, Borderline’s DJ sets represent his diverse taste in style, resulting in varied, fresh and exciting tune selection which keeps the crowd on their toes. With a wallet filled with the newest beats, loads of forthcoming music, and a sprinkling of the classics that everyone knows and loves, you never know what to expect with a Borderline set except that it will be good.

Riding the wave of the release of ‘Flashes of the Future’ will be his first European tour, which will celebrate the album launch and finally give him the opportunity to perform live for his large European fan base.

If you aren't already, keep an ear out for Borderline and find out what the hype is all about!
