Te Houtaewa Maori Trust Invites You To Te Houtaewa Rongoa Clinic (Practices of Traditional Maori Healing & Indigenous Healing Techniques of the World)

Maori Healers
Maori healers embody a powerful ancient skill set that is nearly extinct in the world today. Maori healing, Te Oomai Reia, includes techniques like Mirimiri (massage), Taa Miri (to read and listen to the body), Koo Miri (emotional blocks and wisdom), Rau Miri (our nature), and romi romi (to stir up the body from a space deep within).

These practices are an ancient practice of the Tohunga (Master healers of Aotearoa), linking us to the present vibration, acknowledging the tupuna and kaitiaki (ancestors and guides) of the person being worked on, and which clears, releases and re-energises one’s being.

This modality releases negative energy, physical, psychological and generational pain held in the cellular memory of the body. Including the invisible realm and subtle bodies, Maori healing by nature includes sound, song, karakia (prayer) and natural wisdom. Atarangi helps people return to the dawning light that is at the core of their cells and reignite the memory of wellness and joy. She believes all people are healers.

This workshop is open to all and numbers are limited.
