The Festival is a three-day event commencing on the evening of Friday 28th February with the registration desk opening at 4.30pm; our Whakatau (formal welcome) at 5.00pm followed by the start of workshops at 6pm.

The Friday evening workshops end at 10.30pm and are followed by the Pre-Festival Dance Party, which is led by a recognised Salsa DJ. This concludes at 1.00am Saturday morning.

Saturday 1st March - starts at 10.00am with workshops concluding at 4.00pm.
The evening starts at 8.30pm with the public Showcase Cabaret concluding at 2.00am after the Grand 'Cuban Carnival' Salsa Ball.

We formalise closure of our Festival with a Poroporoake (final farewells and karakia).
