Two film poems explore the atmospheric drama of an interaction of sea, sky, and sand in this special “live” cinema event. Presented by the Adam Art Gallery, in conjunction with their "Cinema & Painting" exhibition. Nathaniel Dorsky's "Alaya" (1976-87, 16mm, 28 mins) will screen alongside Heinrich Hauser's "Windjammer und Janmaaten - Die letzten Segelschiffe" / "Windjammer and Sailors: The Last Sailboats" (1930, 35mm, 48 mins). With live musical accompaniment by Jonathan Berkahn on piano accordion.
