An annual show put on by the Invercargill Poultry & Pigeon Club run to conventions of the South Island Association of Poultry Clubs of New Zealand.
The show features most of all the old breeds of poultry, pigeons, ducks, game, game bantams, fancy bantams and cage birds, plus various egg classes[incl decorated eggs = art mate!].
See the hens your grandmother and grandfather had.
This year it is one of the last shows in the South Island show circuit, held at Kennington about a few kms north of Invercargill off the Main South Road.
Admission fees are set at; $5.00 per adult or $10.00 per family. Children and little nippers $2.00

27 South Island Championships are being competed for by exhibitors and their birds.
