The 2015 Central Districts Sport Stacking Championships are this year being held at Wanganui Girls' College Gymnasium. The tournament will include a NOVICE section (as well as an Experienced section) for all those new to the sport and those who have not attended a sport stacking tournament for a number of years. Registration forms can be downloaded from the Speed Stacks (NZ) website.

Competitors will be competing for the title of the 2015 Central Districts Sport Stacking Championships Overall Champion. The age of competitors ranges from 3 to 60+. Also competing will be the 2016 NZ Black Stacks team members who will be travelling to Germany in April next year to compete in the World Sport Stacking Championships.

Sport stacking is an exciting individual and team sport where participants stack and unstack 12 specially designed plastic cups in a pre-determined sequence. Great for focus, concentration and left right brain activity.

Sport stacking with speed stacks has featured on TV One's Breakfast Show with Paul & Pippa, Pukana, Dare to Win, Hyundai Code and TV3's Campbell Live with footage from Whakarongo School as well as at the launch of the 2011 Super 15 NZ Rugby, the Erin Simpson Show, the 4.30 Show and recently TV One's Breakfast Show with Rawdon Christie and Melissa Stokes and also on TV3 News.

Spectators may join the sport stackers, instructors and volunteers from 9.00am.
