Celebrate the extraordinary lives of Peter Hudson and David Halls — two iconic TV personalities and New Zealand's original great gay love story — with A Hudson & Halls Dinner Experience.

The evening will begin on the stage of The Civic Theatre, where Cuisine magazine's Sam Mannering will treat each guest to a three-course dinner featuring some of the weird and wonderful (and of course, delicious) recipes from the Hudson and Halls canon.

Included in the experience is a glass of bubbles on arrival and wine for each of the three courses, matched by the wonderful team at Nautilus Estate.

Following the meal, you'll be whisked away to a 1980s TVNZ studio to see Silo's world-premiere season of Hudson & Halls Live! Guests will become the live studio audience for a hilariously chaotic and rum-fuelled Christmas special, starring Todd Emerson (Daffodils, Westside) and Chris Parker (Snort, Jono and Ben, Funny Girls).

NB: Silo season ticket holders have the option of shifting their performance night and adding the dinner for $90 (and will need to get in touch with Silo to organise this).

Please note: Each course has been specially selected from the Hudson & Halls Cookbook, and as such is not vegetarian-friendly (it was the ‘80s and meat jellies and seafood mousses were big). This also means that due to the unique nature of this menu, we are unlikely to be able to cater to specific dietary requirements - but please get in touch if you have any questions.
