Join experienced teacher Kate Southward for a ten-week introductory course in Vinyasa Flow Yoga. This will be a great opportunity for those interested to learn more about yoga and build their practice from the ground up.

Classes run Monday and Thursday nights from Monday the 22nd of June to Thursday the 27th of August.

Time: 7:00 PM to 8.10 PM (please arrive five minutes before the start of class)

Priority Fitness is located at 45 Woodside Ave, Northcote - ample parking provided

The classes will offer a full spectrum approach to yoga as a lifestyle, starting with a physical practice on the mat. Yoga will cultivate strength in your muscles, joints and even the bones, while at the same creating more suppleness as you release holding patterns in your connective tissues (fascia). By letting go of physical tension through yoga asanas (postures), you will discover a new-found freedom in your movement. Furthermore, breath work and basic mindfulness techniques will be covered to reduce stress in our busy lifestyles.

Basic Information For A Yoga Class:

-Avoid eating 2 hours prior to your class, a drink of water is okay.

-Recommended clothing: sports top, singlet or tee shirt with shorts or footless tights. Bare feet.

-If you are pregnant please discuss your suitability with Kate first.

-For good hygiene it is recommended that you provide your own yoga mat. We provide mats for those that do not have them.
