Nathan Mikaere Wallis of the NZ Brain Trust will be the keynote speaker. He will cover what alcohol does to the teenage brain and strategies for the most effective wayS to communicate with your young person. Following the presentation a panel of four: Dr. Nick Baker (paediatrician and Chief Medical Officer NMDHB), Michelle Edwards (Te Piki Oranga), Sgt Mal Drummond (Nelson Police), and Neil Anderson (HOD, Health and Well Being at Nelson College) will address specific issues from their perspectives. The panel and keynote speaker will address questions from the audience and your legal responsibility as a parent. There will also be some providers who will share materials that evening.

Doors open at 6:30. Light refreshments to follow. It's an evening NOT to miss! Free Admission.
