Breakthrough single “No Way out” secured a spot on numerous radio station charts across the country, most notably achieving an impressive #65 on The Rock FM’s hottest 100 new songs of 2014. To add to the success on the airwaves, 2014 saw Setting Fire To Stacey invited to support New Zealand rock greats such as Blacklistt, I Am Giant, Devilskin and Villainy. Armed In Advance (formerly Stitches) are a hard rock trio known for their heavy hitting riffs, soaring melodies and purposeful songwriting. On February 11, 2014 the band released their debut five-track EP ‘Harder Times’ to a promising response from critics and fans alike, as singles ‘Blood On Your Harem’ and ‘Light’ both received airplay on The Rock FM. AIA completed a tour of the country in March 2014, then again hit the road in October in support of Villainy on the six date ‘Ammunition’ tour. The following 6 months saw the band take their immersive live performance to the stage alongside the likes of These Four Walls, Ekko Park, Black River Drive and I Am Giant. Now with a brand new single “Shallow”, AIA are on the road again, and a follow up release to 2014’s ‘Harder Times’ is in the works.
