The Auckland Fair is a destination event and is one of New Zealand's biggest and best design, art and craft markets and a unique shopping experience. Showcasing a curated selection of independent, artisan talent from up and down the country that we have here in New Zealand (and sometimes even Australia).

The Auckland Fair has been running since July 2010 following the debut at the Auckland Art Gallery and has been gaining momentum and notoriety with every event carried out. This isn't your regular, stuffy market that happens each month, this is the best of the best!

On the day you will find the best quality, locally made and produced homewares, design, ceramics, jewellery, clothing, candles, skincare, prints, art, toys and more. You can stop by each table and meet the maker behind the products!

When you buy handmade, it is more than just making a purchase — you’re supporting our local industry, economy and the maker's independence. You are buying a product that has been crafted from concept through to tangible product with careful attention to detail by the person sitting right behind the table. Not often in today's society do we as consumers have a chance to meet the makers of the items we buy, by doing so, we have more of an emotional connection to our possessions, and purchases become meaningful once more.

Held at the beautiful Auckland waterfront inside Shed 10, with over 120 makers, interactive spaces, snacks, coffee and fantastic prize draws also available on the day, just for purchasing handmade!

Eftpos and cash payments accepted.

A great all weather event, please see the website for more information including venue information, artist interviews and profiles.
