John Adam, landscape historian, shares his knowledge of how to undertake historical research, using records relevant to the Auckland region, such as national archives held in Wellington, PapersPast and specialist landscape history archives, e.g. those of landscape architect Fred Tschopp. John will focus on public lands information resources for family historians and primary school to stage 3 university courses. His presentation will be preceded by a short display of the intriguing photos of Mark Bishop, which merge images of past and present.
