Massey University’s College of Health, Alumni Relations and Red Cross invite you to an evening with distinguished and decorated nurse Andrew Cameron in celebration of a century of Red Cross service in NZ.

Find out more about emerging global health challenges and opportunities. Join us for an informative free public presentation from one of New Zealand’s most dedicated nurses. Light refreshments and a cash bar will be available.

Andrew Cameron graduated from Massey University with an advanced diploma in nursing in 1984 to achieve his dream of becoming an aid worker with Red Cross.

Since 2005, he has served in Kenya, Sudan, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Georgia, as well as working with remote populations in Australia.
In 2011, he was the 25th New Zealander in a century to win the prestigious New Zealand Red Cross Florence Nightingale Medal. In 2013, he was awarded the Order of Australia. In 2015, he was honoured with Massey University’s Distinguished Service Award.
