View a unique collection of bespoke furniture and have a glimpse behind the scenes of a craftsman at work amidst a collection of art work from a range of New Zealand artists.

Jared Holmes, the creative talent behind Bespoked Furniture, is opening his boutique Westown studio and workspace this Friday to Sunday allowing visitors the chance to see a unique collection of custom made furniture and art.

Having lived and worked around the world, Jared recently returned to Taranaki where he trained in the days before CNC machinery, when furniture was fabricated by true craftsmanship.  After finishing his cabinetry apprenticeship in Normanby, Jared went on his OE only to return and do a building apprentice. The lure of travel proved too great and not long out of his second apprenticeship Jared travelled once more before settling in Queensland, Australia where he established his own furniture design studio in early 2013.

Two and half years later, with a young family at hand, Jared made the decision to return to Taranaki bringing with him a collection of custom made bed suites, dining tables, coffee tables and stools made from Australian Hardwood. It is this selection that Jared invites people to view over a series of three days.
Accompanying the furniture will be a selection of original and limited edition art pieces. The art will be from a selection of New Zealand artists and is presented in collaboration with Bespoke Furniture by Quirky Fox. Both the artworks and furniture will be available for purchase with up to 40% off selected pieces.
