Bike N Hike 2015 is a fun run/walk/cycle 5 & 10km event on Sunday 15th February, 2015 on the stunning Greytown-Woodside Rail Trail and is proud to be part of the amazing Huri Huri cycle festival.

Prices: Individual: $10, Family: $20, Team (up to 4): $30

Start times: Cyclists: 9am, Runners: 9.30am, Walkers: 9.35am

All entrants must pre-register before start of event on the day: Cyclists: 8.15-8.45, Runners & Walkers: 8.45-9.15am

Cool spot prizes are up for grabs (all entrants are eligible) & It's also the Greytown Arts Festival weekend so there will be additional special prizes for the most creative fancy dress if you dare!

Course details: Start/Finish is at the Cotter St entrance to the rail trail & registration is at the greenspace opposite the dog park.
5km walk/run goes to 2.5km mark (middle of trail) at Stouts Corner & returns on the trail.
5km bike goes to 2.5km mark (middle of trail) at Stouts Corner, then right out onto Woodside Road, into Humphries St, and right into Cotter Street to finish.
10km walk/run goes to the end of the Rail Trail at Woodside and returns on the trail.
10km bike goes to end of the Rail Trail at Woodside, then right out onto Woodside Road, into Humphries St, and right into Cotter Street to finish.
The trail is pushchair friendly (mountain buggy type).
Wellington Free Ambulance will be on-site.
Water stations are available at the 2.5km & 5km marks.
Portaloos are available at the start/finish, 2.5km & 5km marks.

There will be food & drink available for purchase at the greenspace (cash only), and some light entertainment will be provided.
All distances are approximate. This event is one for the whole family.

NOTE: All cycle entrants need to be aware that Woodside Road/Humphries Street & Cotter Street will not be closed to traffic. All standard road rules apply. We will however have marshalls in place and intermittent cones placed to provide as safe as possible cycle way for this return portion of the ride.
Bike N Hike 2015 is a fundraiser for Kuranui College to help towards the purchase of a new minivan.
