Baking and a dusty suitcase of memories combine to tell a moving story about one family's loss in World War One.

Performed in the historic Totaranui Cottage, "Biscuits and Bullets" is a puppet show for ages seven and up supporting "Farewell Zealandia - Forgotten Kiwi Songs of WWI"

This is a puppet show incorporates some of the music used in the exhibition to help tell the story of one family's experience of War and the changing attitudes to war. Wellington puppeteer Anna Bailey has drawn on both research from letters and accounts of the first world war and her own great-grandfather's letters home.
The puppet show uses a combination of a human sized puppet, string puppets and shadow puppets and biscuit dough.
The set is built by Lower Hutt tape artist Struan Ashby and the puppets by Anna Bailey.

Show times: 11am, 1pm and 2.30pm - (duration 30mins)
