Migrant Journeys: New Zealand Taxi Drivers Tell their Stories is an extraordinary new publication from Bridget Williams Books.

Edited by Adrienne Jansen and Liz Grant, the book collects the stories of fourteen migrants who made their way to New Zealand - many as refugees - and found work as taxi drivers. These eloquent interviews provide a vivid window onto the world of the immigrant experience, and a fascinating and moving read.

Join Bridget Williams Books, the authors and their interviewees to launch this remarkable book in an event at the National Library. Speakers will include economist Shamubeel Eaqub, Taxi Federation Executive Director Roger Heale, and the Mayor of Wellington, Celia Wade-Brown.

Refreshments will be served; books will be available to purchase from Unity Books Wellington.
