Brain Fit For Life classes are interactive, fun and challenging. Class by class your memory confidence will grow and you will experience the sense of being in control. No longer will you assume memory loss is an inevitable part of the ageing process.

Like physical fitness, brain fitness brings a sense of well-being and the joy of experiencing a healthy, active brain and memory.

Whether you are in the workplace, social situations, studying or simply struggling with memory lapses, you will be amazed at the improvement in your memory and brain agility.

One of the challenges of the modern-day workplace or university is the sheer amount of information people are expected to remember, and remember instantly. Keeping mentally sharp gives an advantage in both the workplace and in education. Ensure you are mentally sharp and are able to recall vital information at the time you need it.

Who Should Attend?

Anyone in the 50+ age group interested in developing strategies for retaining independence, productivity, brain health and a sharp memory into older age. Senior participants welcome.

Course Outline: What is memory? Why do we seem to 'lose' some of its functions? How does the brain work? And how can your brain work best for you? The areas of memory function that are vital for brain resilience and independence in later life. Memory techniques, strategies and practical exercises to strengthen skills in these key areas. Lifestyle approaches that support a healthy memory. Everyday ways to challenge the brain, develop new brain connections and improve memory skills.
