After leading football's WaiBOP Premiership from the start of 2015, Cambridge finish their season with a two-match play-off against the champions of the Auckland/Northern Conference, Waitemata, to decide which club will join next year's Northern Regional Football League. The first leg will be played at Cambridge's home ground and their supporters are sure to be in loud voice against the visitors from Auckland who have completed their regular season unbeaten. (The second leg will be played in Auckland on Saturday September 26). This match - which is free admission - provides a great opportunity to see top level regional football, with plenty at stake. Cambridge's match sponsors are Jet Creative and Onyx Restaurant, Cafe and Bar, while the Player of the Day is sponsored by Carters Cambridge.
