Weill and Brecht eye up Bob Dylan over the poker table. Charvela Vargas and Skeeter Davis whisper in the ear of Hank Williams who's mixing drinks with Dietrich, while Chuckles the monkey rifles his pockets.

Hot on the heels of the highly acclaimed, sell out performance of 2013’s Totally Weill comes Salon Kitty.

Take a further look at the music behind some of the most formative events of the last century: the Mexican Revolution, the Second World War, the rise of the Folk Singer in today’s musical landscape. This hand-picked star-studded ensemble is as much a rag-tag bunch as ever - professional honky-tonkers sit in beside members of the local orchestra, street musicians meet international guests. Their musical experiences unite them into a blindfold conspiracy as they scale the heights and walk the tightropes of the songs they play.

Delaney Davidson and Naomi Ferguson collide once again to bring you Salon Kitty. They are joined by Nicole Garcia, Reuben Derrick, Sophia Bidwell, Alex van den Broek and Joe McCallum.

Praise for Totally Weill

“Well conceived, well performed, immaculately put together, and full of depth and character” – Darren Pickering – Senior music lecturer CPIT, Internationally renowned musician.

”Magnificently other-worldly vaudeville, completely marvellous! Dark and sweet as treacle, a weird and wonderful, grown-up cabaret with pitch perfect players, singers and musicians. I loved it!” The Canterbury Cheesemonger

“A Masterpiece of its Age” - Alfred Abbott
