This multi-sensory theatrical adaptation of Jean Giono’s environmental classic tells the inspiring story of a shepherd who plants a forest, acorn by acorn, transforming a barren wasteland and shows us the different one man (and his dog) can make to the world.

A combination of puppetry, storytelling, choreography, wind that really blows, rain that gets you wet and French countryside scenes that smell like the French countryside.

Suitable for adults and children aged 7+.

“Laughs, heartbreak, war, regeneration, scented breezes, sparkling wit and the best dog puppet ever. Perfect for children and grown-ups. Terrific.” - The Guardian

“... one of the most touching and effective pieces of children’s theatre I’ve seen for a long time” - Sydney Morning Herald
