This is a one day landscape photography workshop at Island Bay on Wellington’s southern coast; with award winning photographers Richard Young and Spencer Club (depend on numbers). On this workshop you learn how to shoot dramatic and awe inspiring coastal landscapes, hopefully finishing with a amazing sunset.

We will meet at the cafe to start for a coffee (included) and to have a quick look/refresh at some of the best settings for landscape photography, once everyone is up to scratch and introduced we will hit the beach and learn how to take some amazing coastal photography, finishing with the chance to shoot the sunset.

- How to capture stunning wide angle shots
- Abstract landscape using a telephoto lens
- Long exposures seascapes
- Coastal sunsets photography
- Increase your awareness of composition, lighting and capturing the moment
- Understand the benefits of filters such as neutral density, graduated neutral density and polarisers
- Receive personal tips and special techniques for capturing water, dramatic coastal landscapes and sunsets.

Class Size:
Limited to eight students with a maximum tutor to pupil ratio of 1-4; workshops running with more that 4 people will also be lead by Spencer Club as well as Richard Young. Limiting class sizes allows us to provide you with the best learning environment possible, including expert guidance, instruction, and personal attention according to your learning style.
